A single segment is equipped with two remote operated printers.
The system allows monitoring of printer work, real-time viewing, as well as the ability to control lighting for specific device status. . It is possible to develop the station into a large farm of up to dozens of 3D printers. Currently, the workstation is also equipped with a storage of printed components, which, in cooperation with the UR5 robotic arm, allows full automation of the 3D printing process.
It is also possible to additionally equip the stand with a robot movement module, which allows to increase productivity by using more segments and print magazines. In addition, the station can be equipped with a 3D scanner, which will allow verification of the accuracy and precision of the prints. The concept of the stand’s operation is shown on the animation.
