Stress analysis

FEM (Finite Elements Method) is a computer-based technique for modeling physical phenomena used to calculate deformations and stresses in structural mechanics, fluid flow simulation and simulation of thermodynamic phenomena. The method is the representation the geometry by imposing an appropriate calculation mesh, so that the stresses, deformations, forces and displacements are obtained in the structure.

FEM allows verification of the strength of the designed structures, as well as allows to ” lean” the structure to optimize dimensions and mass. The use of modules for the simulation of fluid flow and the simulation of thermodynamic phenomena allows the prediction of system operation and the calculation of the temperature field inside the structure. This information allows the proper selection of components and ensuring the required strength of materials according to customer requirements.

Offer:

  • Mechanical strength calculations of the structure, including: displacements, accelerations, forces, stresses,
  • Thermal calculations, including: temperature fields, heat transfer, thermal expansion, thermal stresses determination,
  • Fatigue calculations,
  • Flow calculations, including flow simulations with determination of velocities, pressures, and fluid temperatures.
