The test stand is used to burn hydrogen gas mixtures (methane, LPG) for testing aerospace materials and coatings in a hydrogen flame atmosphere. The bench includes a hydrogen combustion chamber, fuel lines and control panels for remote control of the bench.
The stand currently operates in the Hydrogen Laboratory at the Rzeszów University of Technology, which was also modernised by our company. As part of the modernisation, the existing facilities were adapted to operate test stands that use hydrogen for their processes. A key aspect was to guarantee the highest level of safety due to the presence of flammable gases in the room. Therefore, all equipment and installations were selected to meet the requirements of the ATEX directive.
